Future through Education and Sustainability from Foundation to Model Project

The primary school in Mbengue, near Edéa, has developed from a little-used institution into a thriving educational center. With the support of donors and partners, the school is now an example of successful educational initiatives.

Sustainable Education

The school meets the Future Living School criteria by combining modern digital learning methods with environmental responsibility. The multimedia room promotes interactive learning, while the permaculture garden provides students with hands-on environmental education.

With 100 percent attendance and a high graduation rate, the school shows how education can bring about positive change. Parents, the community and school authorities have contributed significantly to its success.

A milestone for Give A Chance!

The school in Mbengue is the first step of Give A Chance! and a symbol of the vision of giving children in Africa access to high-quality education. This project was made possible thanks to the support of the Canton of Basel-Stadt.
